Gen 1 chapter 1: I’m Home

This beach sucked. This place sucked. My situation sucked. That’s saying alot for a vampire too. I’m Linger Fangs, pure-blood vampire. I was sent to Ghostlight, a sanctuary for monsters outcasted by their society, by my parents. Despite being a vampire I could survive on Sim food, walk in the daylight, and I was blegh…cute. I wasn’t the gorgeous stunning vampire like the rest, I was adorable. Big doll eyes, cute round face, sweet fangs that popped out of my mouth despite the attempts to correct such an over bite. Now though I was waiting for my husband er betrothed. He would end up my husband anyways, yet I didn’t see any other vampire all I saw…was this guy. He ran up to me, he looked just like a normal sim. Except for the obvious abnormalities. I would’ve had him as a treat had I not smelled goblin on him. Goblin’s prey were off-limits to vampires, and this guy was seriously plagued by one. The goblin would get him sure enough.

“Vat do you vant? You reek of goblin filth be gone!”

“Wow, cold. But you’re absolutely stunning…”

“Yes yes now run avay. I’m vaiting for someone.”“Well, uhm ah ah ah ah…!”

“Vat are you doing? Are you dying? Die quietly!”

“N0-n-n-no no. I just had a panic attack.”

“I do not care.” I made to turn but he tapped my shoulder.

“Vat!?” I spun around on my heels. This guy was pushing it now.

“How a-about I keep you company until the person you’re looking for arrives” I eyed this odd purple man with the scared expression. so the goblin’s work had done this?

“Please don’t worry. This is a new frontier after all. Besides you and I there’s about only 14 or so other people on this island.” e smiled a pathetic human smile.

“Fine. I grace you with my presence!”The man that brought me to the park seemed very mortified. The goblin really was showing him no mercy and plagued him with its goblin magic. Was it because I was around? He had many panic attacks, I almost pitied him. So I decided to cheer him up and what other way than to talk about myself?“My name is Linger Fangs. I may look like a sim in a costume but be avare that I am pure blood.”

“Oh that’s ah ah ah…!” His eyes bugged again, this was now a routine I was sure of it.

“I still have that vampire’s charm yet sadly do you see my face? How I look?” I could almost feel my pale cold flesh become hot with shame.

“T-t-to me you’re gorgeous! You should see how I look compared to the other’s ah oh no!” He was afraid of something, nothing that was there. The fear on his face showed that the goblin was doing its worst it could.

“I mean to be a vampire, and yet look this vay! Adorable! Ugh I’m happy my husband is a reject of society as well. He too is pureblood. Vampire marriage arraingements are the only way we marry and it’s a pureblood leisure.” My dead heart fluttered. Even admist the goblin smelling man’s panic attacks, I knew I would love my betrothed. We would be pure-bloods, misunderstood, and start a great vampire colony here. In my dreaming I saw a building. it was a regal looking building. Tall and commanding attention.

“Vat is that building? Take me there now goblin plagued man.”

“G-goblin plagued?”

“Yes I vant to see it!”“Oh vat a gorgeous building.” I admired it all. The stones, the rug, the candles, everything went under my eye with tender adoration.

“Yes. This is the Mary Roseline Sanctuary. If you’re ever outside when it’s really dark and are far from home, just come here.”

“This is a Sanctuary? How vonderful! Vat is over here?” I crossed under the arches. I felt nearly like a princess, or atleast a vampire free of imperfections.“Vat a lovely alter.” The candles and the golden plate looked like something out of a fairytale. The roses were nice but in the way a bit.

“Yea. Funerals, Weddings or just little get togethers. This is the building to do all of that in.” I stared at the plate some more. Did they serve blood to drink on it? as I was wondering, I wondered a bit outloud.

“I could see me and my husband marrying each other here.” I walked down from the platform. The goblin plagued man caught my eye. He had a strange look on his face and a broad smile.

“Alright, when the time comes let’s get married here.” With that he sat down.I on the other hand halted my exploration. Did he say he and I just now? I, a pure and mighty vampire, wed a man that can’t even save himself from goblins? There was no way he thought his taking me around to places was in any way a show of romantic affections right?

“I mean, I’m your betrothed and it’s my duty to make you happy.” That sounded smug…and wrong. I couldn’t put it together, how this man could ever think that I would marry him. “Vat are you even talking about?”
